Good Transportation
Snohomish County offers multiple public transit systems, providing public bus service throughout the city of Everett, Everett Transit, countywide Community Transit with links to the Puget Sound’s regional system’s Sound Transit that serves major cities in Snohomish, King and Pierce counties.
Sound Transit also offers commuter rail service along the Burlington Northern rail tracks at various transportation stations and stops to Seattle. King County Metro Transit operates bus service.
The Washington State Ferry system operates a daily commuter ferry between Whidbey Island and Mukilteo providing residents of the Island to commute to work to Boeing in Everett and other employers throughout Snohomish County and into King County. Bus and rail connections can be made at the transportation station in Mukilteo just off of the Ferry.
