Business licensing

To register a business in Snohomish County and Washington State you must complete a Master Application, which will register your business with the departments of Revenue, Licensing, Labor and Industries, Employment Security, and the Office of the Secretary of State.

To obtain a Master Application:

Snohomish County requires certain businesses to operate in unincorporated areas of the County. For details and application, contact the Snohomish County Auditor.

Most cities within Snohomish County will require a business license to engage in business within its borders regardless of where the business is headquartered. Contact cities direct for application and information.
