Business licensing
To register a business in Snohomish County and Washington State you must complete a Master Business Application or (1-800-647-7706), which will register your business with the departments of Revenue, Licensing, Labor and Industries, Employment Security, and the Office of the Secretary of State.
Snohomish County requires certain businesses to operate in unincorporated areas of the County. For details and application, contact the Snohomish County Auditor.
Most cities within Snohomish County will require a business license to engage in business within its borders regardless of where the business is headquartered. Contact cities direct for application and information.
